Revelation of truth

One night, Aria could not take it anymore. She shouted into the dark, trembling:

“Siya! Stop! I never left you! I never forgot you!”

The ghost appeared fully this time, eyes blazing, hands reaching toward her. “You left me! You didn’t come when I called! You left me to die!”

Aria dropped to her knees, tears streaming. “I didn’t know! I was just a child! I… I couldn’t save you!”

Siya’s face twisted in pain, and for a moment, Aria saw the little girl she remembered the friend she had loved for so long. “You… you still love me?” the ghost whispered.

“Yes! I’ve loved you every day!” Aria cried.

Siya’s anger wavered. The shadow that had haunted her for fifteen years softened. The ghost hovered, quiet now, watching. She realized Aria had never forgotten, had never stopped caring, and had always been planning

ng justice.
